Directed by Eamon Jones and Stephen Beggs

Hilarity abounds in Neil Simon’s terrific comedy portrait of three very different couples occupying the same suite at the New York Plaza Hotel on three very different occasions.

A suburban couple take the suite while their house is being painted and it turns out to be the one in which they honeymooned 19 (or was it 20?) years before. She’s waiting for champagne from room service and he’s waiting for his secretary to bring some important business papers.

This wry tale of a marriage on the rocks is followed by the exploits of a Hollywood bigwig who, after three marriages, is looking for fresh fields. He calls a childhood sweetheart, now a suburban housewife, for a little ‘diversion’.

Finally, a mother and father are fighting about the best way to get their bride-to-be daughter out of the bathroom and down to the ballroom where their guests and her future husband are waiting…
